On January 15th, 2013 Lindsay stepped down from her role as Executive Director to spend more time with her family, she remains on staff part-time as the Program Director. As Program Director, Lindsay continues to reach out to farmers, consumers, restaurants and retailers in central Illinois to promote locally produced foods and connect local growers and producers to new markets. She manages the Buy Fresh Buy Local Central Illinois campaign, among many others.
Prior to coming to Illinois Stewardship Alliance, Lindsay studied Policy Advocacy and Social Justice at the School for International Training and received a B.A. from Arizona State University with concentrations in Anthropology and Sociology. Throughout her studies, Lindsay kept her connection to the land by working on farms in Arizona, Illinois and New Hampshire. Lindsay is a Central Illinois Farm Beginnings graduate. Lindsay, her husband and son hope to help both of their central Illinois based family farms flourish in becoming diversified sustainable operations.

She graduated from Illinois State University with a Spanish Education degree and spent three years teaching middle school Spanish as well as one year teaching university-level English in the Dominican Republic before settling back down to her roots in Central Illinois. Molly brings to ISA four years of experience in creating and giving presentations, as well as a love for writing, green living, and an innate sense of respect and caring for the land and the natural world that stems from it. In her spare time, you can find Molly in the kitchen testing out new recipes, running or hiking outdoors, or catching up on a good book.
