Summertime means super fresh fruits and vegetables! Whether you are growing them in your garden or shopping at the local farmers market, there is an abundance of fresh, local food to get your family cooking. Join Illinois Stewardship Alliance and Copper Pot Cooking Studio for a seasonal cooking class for families (children ages 5-12 with an accompanying adult). Participants will learn how to prepare a shredded vegetable slaw and Israeli couscous with seasonal vegetables. Additionally, participants will create a take home garden craft. Space is limited. Register by calling the Chatham Public Library (217) 483-2713.
