Local Flavors Week at Flesor's Candy Kitchen, September 18th -24th

Local Flavors Week rolls onto Flesor's Candy Kitchen in Tuscola, September 18th - 24th. All week long they'll be featuring their honey-salted caramels, with local honey from Walker Prairie Honey. Stop in on Wednesday for varietal squash from the Great Pumpkin Patch in the neighboring town of Arthur, served with (or without) the Flesor's famed liver and onions. On Thursday, Flesor's will feature smoked gouda cheese from Ropp Jersey Cheese in Au-Gratin potatoes served with mustard sauce pork loin. And on Friday, it's Pastitsio, a Greek lasagna featuring locally-raised ground lamb from Gridley Meats. When you dine out for Local Flavors Week, not only will you get a delicious taste of Illinois, you'll be supporting small farmers, happy animals, healthy land, and a fantastic socially conscious local business. Now that's a bite we can get behind. #votewithyourfork #buyfreshbuylocal #LocalFlavorsWeekIL
